Prayer pointers

We would be very grateful if you would please support our missions through your prayers. Thank you so much.

Mission Team Leaders have suggested these themes for prayer:

(1) Bradmore Road Nursery, Oxford

  • We are grateful for such a warm welcome from the staff, and a creative set of events to be arranged
  • We pray that these special occasions of music, play, church visit & Easter Egg hunt will be a beautiful contribution to the life of children, staff and parents.

(2) St Mary's Church, Amersham

  • We are glad that our Orientation Day in January worked so well with interviews in the service, conversations over lunch and a walk around the parish.
  • We pray for good preparation for set pieces of addresses in church and lessons in schools , as well as spontaneous opportunities in the fun run , the tea dance and some visiting of the housebound.

  • We are grateful that 5 churches have united in a combined mission programme, and are looking forward to welcoming a Wycliffe team back for a second season.
  • We pray for flexible approaches to market town and deep rural settings, and for all the opportunities in primary & secondary schools and the sixth form college.

(4) Betel in Birmingham

  • We are grateful for the team ready to share in the life of a Christian Recovery Community working with those seeking deliverance from addictive behaviour through daily worship and regular work.
  • We pray for safety in accommodation and service, with the sensitivity of listening, speaking and praying.

(5) Churches in North London

  • We are glad that a unified programme has emerged for 3 Turkish churches to welcome the team into their style of Christian life and witness.
  • We pray for cultural and spiritual sensitivity in a new setting of Christian witness across cultures and world views , and for the special events planned for Speakers Corner & the British Museum.

(6) Three countries in West Africa

  • We are grateful that new dates have been agreed to visit Guinea, Sierra Leone and The Gambia, and for all the travel plans arranged by the Relay Trust
  • We pray for energy, safety and good health in each country, and for cultural sensitivity in churches, schools and the theological college.

Thank you for your support.
