About the event
During the Second World War, a mysterious stranger arrives at a farm in Wiltshire,
unsettling the gentle rhythms of village life. Gossip stirs and suspicions rise.
Emily reflects on her younger days as a seamstress in the village. Amid buttons and
candlelight, laughter and longing, and the ache of love tested by loss, she discovers that
suffering does not have the final word. Through grief and grace, she comes to understand
that every stitch of her life has been held in the hands of a faithful Creator.
A tender and beautiful evening of live music, poetry, and song, reflecting on love and loss,
and on the enduring faithfulness of God, who sews and weaves beauty from brokenness
into a divine tapestry.

Getting here: Wycliffe Hall is on major bus routes. Limited parking may be available on site (please contact us by email if you have any special access requirements) and pay-and-display on-street parking is available close by in Norham Gardens.
All are welcome: the event is open to the public and free to attend.
