How do film projects get made?
What impact can filmmaking have on wider culture?

About the event
Dr Clair Linzey
With hands-on experience of producing the documentary, The Animal Thing. The documentary explores the life and ideas of Animal Theologian, Andrew Linzey. Clair has helped to translate the life of a Christ-centred animal advocate and theologian into film festival screenings. She joins us to talk about the process of filmmaking, submitting to festivals and being on a production team.
Pete Sinclair has worked on a variety of short films, including the screenplay of an upcoming socially-conscious dark fairytale based in the advent season. Recently Associate Producer at The Pitch Film Fund where he worked across talent and story development, as well as developing his own writing projects. Before working for The Pitch he worked in charity content creation alongside freelance running on short films and TV series such as Netflix's The Crown.
Daniel Kim is the curate at St Aldates and co-founder of ChristianStory— an animation studio bringing to life the history and theology of Christianity. Combining academic rigor with visual storytelling, ChristianStory invites viewers into the rich, diverse, and sometimes difficult legacy of the Church, with the ultimate goal of deepening faith, not hindering it.
Wycliffe Hall has set itself the modest task of fostering a New Renaissance of Christian scholarship, leadership and culture. As both a Christian community and a Permanent Private Hall of the University of Oxford, we want to see transformational scholarship, leadership and culture, born out of Christian community, offering the truth, beauty and goodness of the gospel to the world.
