Thank you for your interest in studying at Wycliffe Hall. There are different application procedures for ordinands and independent students depending on the course you apply for.

Undergraduate ordinands

For ordinands on the BTh, Diploma and BA, please apply using the application form below. Once you have submitted your application Jo Wakefield will contact you regarding the set written work. You will need two references.

Certificate in Theological Studies

Please apply using the application form below. Once you have submitted your application Jo Wakefield will contact you regarding the set written work. You will need two references.

The first gathered field is open to applicants for the full-time programme only. Your application, including the set written work, must be complete by 5 February 2027 for interviews in the week beginning 8 March 2027. 

The second gathered field is open to applicants for both the full-time and part-time programmes, and applications must be complete by 30 April 2027 for interviews in the week beginning 24 May 2027. 

Spaces on the CTS are limited, so please apply early to avoid disappointment.

Graduate courses

For all graduate courses, everyone (including ordinands) must apply through the University of Oxford; further information is available on the University website at https://www.ox.ac.uk/admissions/graduate/application-guide, but please do email Jo Wakefield on joanne.wakefield@wycliffe.ox.ac.uk for further information if required. 

Please note that application deadlines for the DPhil, MPhil and MSt will be in early January 2027. Other graduate courses may have different deadlines. Please look at the application page for your course. 

Non-ordinands on BA courses

Non-ordinands applying for the Oxford BA in Theology and Religion (including Senior Status) and Oxford BA in Philosophy and Theology need to apply through UCAS  here.
