We are delighted to announce that Professor Eric Fernie is giving a lecture at Wycliffe Hall on Wednesday 25th January at 5 p.m. Professor Fernie has been Director of the Courtauld Gallery and President of the Society of Antiquaries of London. Amongst his publications are books on The Architecture of the Anglo-Saxons, The Architecture of Norman England and Medieval Architecture and its intellectual Context. He will be speaking on ‘The Medieval Apsed Rotunda: Distribution, Meaning and Sources’. All are welcome.
