Wycliffe Hall was founded to train clergy and others interested in ministry in the Church of England, and continues to do so, but many students are not Anglicans and come from other Christian denominations, or may not have any denominational affiliation. We believe that this make for a rich and engaging environment in which to study.

In general Wycliffe Hall can offer limited bursary support for some of our students as a result of its fundraising efforts, but students who are looking for financial support should expect to look elsewhere for the majority of that funding, and we are happy to suggest possible sources. We do, however, draw attention to the Theology for All scholarships for suitably qualified candidates, for whom substantial support is available.
